Over the past few years, I have heard and even encountered numerous incidents of asian hate in the US and around the world. These racism come from stereotypes and ignorant biases against asian culture and people. I believe that it is a severe issue that needs to be addressed immediately, as millions of asian people are suffering through violence and discrimination, compromising the equality and equity pursued in modern society. I contributed to combatting this issue by joining fundraisers and hosting workshops against Asian hate, hoping to contribute to improving this issue as a student.
